Healey Ikerd is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arkansas, a Master's of Human Relations Degree from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master's of Science Degree from John Brown University in Community Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. She has also earned a Certificate in Ministry from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Healey now runs her private practice, HopeLife Counseling, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. With 17 years of experience in mental health, she has dedicated her career to helping both children and adults navigate their emotional and mental health challenges. She has authored a workbook called Changing Your Feelings, A Workbook for Anxiety and Worry From a Christian Perspective, and a recently released children’s picture book entitled The Red Ball, A Story of Friendship and Forgiveness.
For 15 years, Healey raised her son as a single Christian parent. She married for the first time at 41 years old and now enjoys life on a small farm with her husband. She is a proud grandma of two beautiful grandchildren and in her spare time, is working on a 40-day devotional to help women understand their God-given identity.
