Our Grandmother, as well as many elders in our families and communities always have said, 'Keep sayin' Good morning.  Today is February 1st, 2020.  A new day.  A new year.  A new month and a brand new morning.  We hope this episode as well as all the rest to come,  grow better and more relatable in uplifting the community and sharing some good news.

The inaugural episode of Dear Spanish Camp, TX featuring Second-year college student, our cousin Myles.  Myles Chapman is a Gen Z college Sophomore at Purdue University in Indiana.  We chatted about the adjustments to college life from living at home back in Texas with Mom, Dad and little sister Zoe.  A simple episode for the first one, starting out with a family member who is part of a forward generation that will be leading us strong and broad into the future.  We wanted to showcase what young people might be thinking about and also give some encouragement to other young people and even parents as to what entering a new segment of life might be like after high school graduation.

Many young people choose not to attend a University of College and instead attend Trade Schools, Community Colleges that offer specialized programs and even decide to take a Gap year or go straight into the workforce soon after leaving Secondary education.  A Gap year allows a student or young adult an opportunity to take some time and figure out what the next year(s) will be in moving forward towards productive and happy lives for themselves.  Entrepreneurship is always a great way to build wealth and happiness with good mentoring and training in any field.  Whatever our children are interested in, we encourage them to learn more and figure things out, plan and learn to seek out professionals who are already successful doing what it is they would love to do for a living.
