Nearly thirty years into one of indie rock's most celebrated careers, Death Cab have continued to grow, evolve and connect with audiences in a way very few bands manage to sustain. Last week they returned with I Built You A Tower, their eleventh studio album and their first on an indie label in twenty years. It's a record that draws on everything sonically the band have built across their catalogue, and one that feels like a genuine statement from a group who have never been content to stand still.
