Things have seemed to change, more often, the cardiac arrest call is overdose related and not truly a cardiac arrest. With these "false" arrest calls, does it make us complacent? Also, with the increase in overdose calls, comes the increase of naloxone use. In addition, has things like airway management and artificial ventilation have seemed to be moved down on the providers' priority list.
