“Daniel demonstrates the kind of humility and contentment that a believer should have. He didn’t throw a tantrum and say, ‘Don’t you KNOW who I AM?!?’ And he wasn’t desperate to get invited to this party – to be brought into the “elite” circle of the who’s-who of Babylon. He says, ‘I’m happy to help, but keep all your stuff.’He is merciful and generous to Belshazzar. He didn’t respect Belshazzar. He didn’t have a relationship with him the way he did with Nebuchadnezzar. But he’s willing to give his time and come to tell him God’s truth. And he didn’t keep the truth behind a paywall. Be careful out there of Christians or ministries who keep everything behind a paywall.”
