  • Spiritual Blessings-Pt 3-Acceptance
The sermon explores the spiritual blessing of divine acceptance found exclusively in Jesus Christ, emphasizing that this status is rooted entirely in God's unmerited grace rather than human merit. It contrasts the inherent sinfulness and unworthiness of humanity with the perfect righteousness imputed to believers through Christ's sacrificial death. The message highlights that God's favor is unconditional and eternal, secured by the finished work of the cross and received solely through faith. By anchoring identity in being 'in the Beloved,' believers are assured of their permanent standing before God, independent of their own performance. The exposition concludes with an urgent call to trust in Christ for salvation, as acceptance is available only to those united with Him.

  • Jesus, on Trial
Imagine that you were tasked with standing in judgment upon Jesus. You only had one day to decide what to do. What side of the Lord Jesus would you be on - "for" - or - "against?" In Luke 23, Pilate's day of decision had come. Sadly, he stood with those who opposed the Lord Jesus and condemned the King of King and Lord of Lords. Friend, you may stand alone - but do stand WITH Jesus and do not AGAINST Jesus. If Pilate never repented, Pilate is in Hell today. If we go to Hell, it will be for the same reason. Jesus was crucified for our sin and yet we did not judge correctly and BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST for our own salvation. The blood that Jesus shed, because of Pilate's sin and our own, has the power to cleanse our heart and make us fit for Heaven. If you aren't on Jesus side, you are as guilty as Pilate, as you stand with those who crucified the Lord of Glory. Pilate thought he could wash his hands of his guilt, but he could not. Neither can you. Until you get saved, the guilt of Jesus death is laid at your sinful feet. Why not let the same blood He shed, take your guilt away? Why not judge correctly upon the innocent lamb of God who died lovingly in your place?

  • Psalm 9
This Sunday School lesson explores the structure and theological depth of Psalm 9, identifying it as an acrostic poem that highlights God's righteous judgment against the wicked and His protection of the oppressed. The instructor emphasizes the messianic nature of the Psalms, interpreting the psalmist's deliverance from death as a foreshadowing of Christ's resurrection and victory over sin. By contrasting the fate of the arrogant nations with the hope found in God for the afflicted, the sermon underscores that divine judgment serves as ultimate justice for the vulnerable. The teaching encourages believers to view their own suffering through the lens of Christ's affliction, finding assurance that God remembers the cries of the poor and needy. Ultimately, the message points to the future hope where Christ reigns enthroned, humbling all opposition and securing salvation for His people.

  • What Does Baptism Mean?
In this message, Brother Dean Stuart continues a study of Fair Haven Primitive Baptist Church's Articles of Faith by examining the ordinance of baptism. He considers the biblical mode of baptism, who should be baptized, when and why baptism should be observed, the authority to administer it, and the question of rebaptism. Drawing from passages throughout the New Testament, the message emphasizes baptism as an act of obedience, a picture of Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, and an entrance into the fellowship of the church.
