Death Show: Near Death Experiences 2/3 “In that nanosecond of enlightenment I knew that the human spirit survives the death of the physical body and I understood that my wandering soul needed to get back into its earthly habitat.” ― Janet Bettag Featured in order of appearance: 00:59 – NDE Peter Bedard 17:20 – NDE Karyn Reece 27″26 – NDE Howard Storm 45:57 – NDE Andrew Petro 01:25:15 – Robert & Suzanne Mays ======================================= NDE Peter Bedard After a near-death experience, Peter Bedard was faced with the greatest challenge of all: Living a life in severe physical, emotional, and spiritual pain. The former dancer soon discovered that the anger and frustration he felt because of his injuries were not only keeping him in pain, but were waiting to teach him the greatest gifts of his life. Now, a celebrated author and healer, Peter Bedard helps thousands of people globally to live a life of full potential while integrating the lessons of pain into balanced NDE Karyn Reece NDE Howard Storm Howard Storm is a former atheist and art professor and chairman of the art department at the Northern Kentucky University. He is best known as the author of “My Descent Into Death” which details his near-death experience. Storm’s NDE is regarded as one of the most complete accounts of distressing near-death experiences ever recorded. It includes dramatic encounters with evil spirits, a trip to hell, a rescue by Jesus, and extensive conversations with Jesus and a group of angels. Storm’s NDE has been cited frequently in near-death studies literature. His book was originally published in 2000 and re-published as a hardback book in 2005. Storm has told his story to numerous audiences and appeared on NBC’s Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, 48 Hours, Discovery Channel and Coast to Coast AM. Storm was so deeply affected by his near-death experience that he resigned from Northern Kentucky University and became a United Church of Christ minister. NDE Andrew Petro In 1955 Andrew Petro faced death; he would never be the same. He ate a light lunch, jumped in to the cold water with a belly flop. As he was swimming he began to cramp in his stomach and groin. He was drowning and gave into the voice that asked him to stop resisting death and promised he would return to life. He describes the experience in vivid detail. His senses were heightened. There was a bright light, much brighter than the sun. He was no longer in pain. The voice was one that brought comfort and reassuring strength. The light knew everything thing about him but offered no censure. Andy realized he was part of the light for it was encompassing. He never wanted to leave the light. After his amazing near death experience, Andy had a desire to write. It actually went beyond desire; he was driven to write poetry. It was as though the poems were channeled through him. The poetry would come to him at night. He would wake up, begin to write, and within an hour the poem would be complete. The poetry seemed to serve a purpose . . . to help him remember the details of his NDE (Near Death Experience). Robert & Suzanne Mays Website:
