Denise Author and Teri Netterville are not happy. While sports are important building blocks for growing up, developing values, and learning the importance of physical activity throughout one’s life, it is just a game. It is time for those griping over a blown play (or doing much worse, such as death threats) to put down their chips, dips, and beer and either take their out-of-shape bodies out onto the field to prove who can do better better or shut up. It was just a game. College classes will continue, and getting to graduation day is a lot more important.
