For part 2 of our adjudication discussion, we interview Justin Guda on how they deliberate during tournaments, as well as prepare for rounds. In this episode, listen as we ask the questions you wanted asked, and hopefully learn how to love adjudication as much as we do!

For this episode, we deal with the complexities of adjudication and give our personal thoughts and insights about it. For part 1, we talk about the basic role of an adjudicator, what judges should and should not be persuaded by, as well as how to navigate the many gray areas judges encounter during rounds.

One of the most important concepts in history is sadly also one of the most misunderstood. For this episode, we discuss what genocide is, how it has occurred in the past, as well as the severity of the term in it of itself.

Whipping can be hard to learn because the way it's talked about relies on some vague phrases like "cleaning up" or "summarizing the debate." Debaters use their own experiences to help them define these terms so they end up understanding the same terms quite differently. Here's our attempt to clarify some things!

Sometimes it's hard to scroll through our feeds on the blue bird app or on the big F of social media sites. Some say it's because of "cancel culture." But what is this culture, anyway? Does it even exist, is it the root of all evil, is it a tool for social justice? We say it's not all good, but it's not all bad, either!

What do we mean when we use the phrase "the new normal"? Does it euphemize the struggles of the less privileged, or is it a genuine and innocent way to comfort people in highly uncertain times?
