How could God insure that His goal for the earth and all mankind would work?  He had to make sure we had a part of his desire for good.

Genesis 1:26-27   “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.”

Healing is one of those sticky issues that can confuse us about the power of God.

Matthew 4: 23-24  "Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.  News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.”

You can be the type of Christian who considers their faith to be a full time purpose driven powerful experience.  You can impact your community, the country and the world.

2 Peter 1:3-4  “His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature…”

The greatest power of our Almighty God is his intellect.

1 Corinthians 1:25  “For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.”

You can live your entire life without intervention from this Almighty, all-knowing, all-powerful being. You can choose not to recognize him at all.

John 1:1-5   “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”

The invisible attributes of God can be seen in everything God has created.  No being or spirit is bigger than God.

Romans 1:20  “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”

The Hubble telescope found 125 billion galaxies......if God made those galaxies, how big is God?

Genesis 1: 1-5  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Anytime I need encouragement about the power of God and how he protects His children, I asked my grandmother to tell me "The Gun Story."

Proverbs 2:6-8   “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright,

Is it hard for you to have faith?  Do You struggle with unbelief?  The Bible insists that we should not give up.

Hebrews 11:1  "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Often Christians can become discouraged or even depressed about their life and consequently about their faith.  When that happens, Satan moves in.  But there is hope......

Proverbs 13:12  "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life."

Ephesians 1:18  "I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people..."
