A strange dream about a hotel got me thinking about how much tech has changed. There was a time when buying software or a game meant you actually owned it. Now everything feels temporary, subscription-based, and never quite finished. I'm not anti-tech, but maybe it's time to rethink what we've accepted as normal.
This episode is about recovery from illness, the kind that doesn’t happen overnight. I talk about getting sick, starting grief counselling and grief reiki, and what it feels like to realize that mental health and physical health are tied together more than we like to admit.
There’s also a bit about living and working in a small space (and why rearranging my office-bedroom combo always resets my brain), plus a look at a few creative projects: rebuilding my website, dusting off RetroDev Studio, and planning my usual homemade holiday gifts.
Mostly though, it’s about finding your rhythm again after everything feels like too much.
If you’ve ever needed to step back before you could move forward, this one’s for you.
