As we enter the Advent season, we reflect on the incredible story of Jesus Christ—a Savior who stepped into humanity's brokenness to bring redemption. In this message, Pastor David explores the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1, a seemingly tedious list of names that reveals a profound truth: God uses messy, flawed individuals to accomplish His perfect plan.
From Tamar and Rahab to Ruth and Bathsheba, the lineage of Christ is filled with stories of scandal and redemption, shame and grace. Matthew’s genealogy reminds us that God doesn’t require perfection; He redeems imperfection.
