  • Entering God’s rest is difficult because of our weakness. This is why Jesus is appointed our High Priest.

    • The writer of Hebrews says:

    Hebrews 4:15–16 (NLT)

    15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

    • Entering God’s rest is difficult, but not impossible. We have a perfect High Priest better than those who served according to the law of Moses. Our High Priest serves in the order of Melchizedek.
