Join us for our third podcast of Awakening Spirituality. Awakening Spirituality is a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your spirituality and share with other seekers. In the first half of this episode we talk with Arlene Caldwell who introduces us to Prayer and Spirit Journalling. Essentially it is a written dialogue between the writer and the Divine. It can be practiced by anyone who wishes to acknowledge personal blessings and offer gratitude. It can be practiced to release burdens and blocks in your life as well as to seek clarification on appropriate responses to stressful situations. It is a process to allow you to actively listen to your own higher wisdom and to become a better version of yourself in your daily walk here on the earth plane. Grab a book or a piece of paper, or even a computer screen, get into a place of gratitude, and start your dialogue with the divine. Arlene can be reached at: [email protected] or visit the website: www.awakeningspirituality.ca or join our facebook page: Awakening Spirituality.
In the second half of our episode we speak with Carol Marie Groen who introduces us to Ho'oponopono, which uses a 4-phrase prayer like mantra, combined to clean the data of our memories and help us retake 100% responsibility for everything in life, good, bad, and indifferent. When you use the prayer or mantras, you're cleaning within yourself to heal your inner child, your memories, and your ancestral memories, to make room for Inspiration from the Divine. The mantras, that go like this: I'm sorry - repentance, Please forgive me - forgiveness, Thank you - gratitude, I love you - love. The absolute miracle of practicing Ho’oponopono is that you get to experience the renewing miracle of Love – within yourself, and then with and for others. And you can begin right now. Right where you are. For the month of December I challenge you (and myself) to up our spiritual practices to include spirit journaling and to repeat the Ho’oponopono mantras every day until the new year. I’m kind of excited to see what happens. You can message Carol Marie at [email protected] or visit her website at: HowSweetItIs.ca (very soon).
