  • The LORD Said to My Lord
The sermon examines Jesus' confrontation with the scribes in Luke 20, highlighting how He exposed their hypocrisy and false theology by proving His dual nature as both David's descendant and David's Lord. It contrasts the religious leaders' desire for worldly honor with the true Messiah's role as the God-man who alone can atone for sin. The message warns against modern distortions of faith, such as the prosperity gospel, which mimic ancient errors by prioritizing self-exaltation over biblical truth. Ultimately, it offers hope to all sinners, emphasizing that salvation comes solely through faith in Christ's perfect righteousness and resurrection power. The preacher urges listeners to abandon self-deception and embrace Jesus as the only Savior capable of washing away even the greatest sins.

  • He Departed, and Did Hide Himself From Them

  • WHEN TRUTH BECOMES OPTIONAL
WHEN TRUTH BECOMES OPTIONAL.[The Dangerous Drift of a Deceived Generation] 2 Timothy 4:3–4 (KJV) In a world where opinions often replace God's Word, the Apostle Paul warns that people will eventually reject sound doctrine and choose teachers who tell them only what they want to hear. This message reveals the danger of abandoning biblical truth, the consequences of spiritual deception, and the urgent need to remain faithful to the unchanging Word of God. Jesus Christ is the Truth, and only those who build their lives upon Him will stand firm in a generation that has lost its moral compass. Paul reminds Timothy that his ministry is performed before Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will one day judge every person. Therefore, a minister's responsibility is not to entertain people but to faithfully proclaim God's Word whether it is popular or unpopular. What is the greatest truth you will ever hear? God loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for your sins, to be buried, and to rise again the third day, so that everyone who repents and believes in Him can have everlasting life. The greatest lie is not simply one told by another person. The greatest lie is believing that you can reject Jesus Christ today and somehow be ready to meet Him tomorrow. The choice you make about Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make, because it will determine where you spend eternity.
