Decoding Spiritual Warfare In Business

Sometimes we get stuck because we know we need to move forward in our business, but we don't. Often we'll use the "we are waiting on the Lord" excuse for not. Sometimes, waiting on the Lord is appropriate, but more often, the Lord is asking us to take steps forward in our business.

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Through this craving, some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. - 1 Timothy 6:10 (ESV)

Money is not what is evil. The love of money becomes the root of all kinds of evil.

In this bonus episode, Jeff shares his own personal story about how the love of money caused a lot of pain and eventually became the ultimate downfall of his first business.

Each day we are confronted with mindset traps, and how we deal with them can greatly impact many areas of our lives. When we lose the battle of our minds, our faith, confidence, relationships, health, and our businesses suffer.

As Christian entrepreneurs, we are not immune to these mindset traps. We can very easily fall into them just like everyone else. They stop us in our tracks and prevent us from carrying out our unique calling in this life as entrepreneurs. They stop us from Kingdom work.

The benefit of being a Christian entrepreneur is that the Spirit of God is living within us to help us in our weaknesses. God can heal and mend a broken mindset. When we lean into the power of God and better understand these pitfalls, and begin building strategies to avoid them, we begin to reach our true potential and start to see God coming through in our businesses in a way only He can.

It's important to dream and have big ideas for where we want our business to go, this is called vision.

The problem is that often our vision can be formed from internal ambitions. These ambitions can lead us into trouble and are more focused on us.

Instead, we should strive to create a God-focused vision for our lives and business. This takes the focus of our business off ourselves and our ambitions and makes it God-focused.

The benefit of building our business on God's vision is that it opens the door for God's blessing as He knows that we will use them for the advancement of the Gospel.
