Patrice, Ben, and Jerry finally tackle the BenGate BS thanks to BGR wanting more page views, Tim Cook makes some news about his personal life, and someone tries to tie it to GamerGate. Also, who cares about the adoption rate of OSes?

In episode 4, Jerry steals the disclaimer from Ben, Macworld doesn’t fact check on NFC in iPads or bother to update and the crew take on the issues surrounding CurrentC.

The powers that be gave Ben a cold, screwed up Jerry’s audio, and didn’t do anything to Patrice. But that’s not enough to stop us! The team takes the Wall Street Journal to task for not owning up to bad information and a great article does the deconstructing for us.

Jerry had to work or something so Ben and Patrice take on GamerGate threats to an awesome female game developer. They also detail the flaws in the argument for changes in Apple stock by Smaug the Dragon aka Carl Icahn.

For years Patrice, Jerome, and Ben read crappy tech articles and kept the pain to themselves. However it eventually became too much and Deconstruct was born. This week the gang will introduce you to our new show and a couple examples of how NOT to write a tech piece. Like all forthcoming episodes, this one isn’t safe for the workplace, the kiddies, or writers from certain tech sites.
