This week we are joined by Not A Flower Empower's Halie Baer. After marrying at 19, Halie struggled with anxiety around intimacy and pain with intercourse due to skewed views of sex brought on by being born to teen parents and being raised in purity culture. While continuing to work in ministry and maintain a love for the church, Halie has been on a journey of physical healing as well as deconstruction of harmful beliefs. She now runs notaflower.empower and is an advocate for change in the church around sexual health.
