If everyone has to look alike and think exactly alike, and if there’s no room for disagreement or nuance, we might be bowing to the altar of conformity. The next generation does not want a faith that is so narrow that they have to conform to secondary issues. That’s never the way it’s supposed to have been since the beginning, but even Jesus’ disciples struggled with this.

Deconstruction. Many people who once believed and had faith have made a decision not to believe, and often that decision comes as a result of what they have experienced around believing communities.
