Pastor Dick's sermon was used John 20:19-23 where Jesus appears to the disciples for the first. How would you feel if the man you had been following and learning from and loved went through what Jesus went through? They were devastated and terrified that they might be next so they locked themselves in a room. When Jesus appeared His simple response to them was "Peace be with you." Think of their joy at this turn of events. God did indeed have the last word and we had a wonderful, praise filled Easter service.
