MatchDay 26 | Premier League 2018/19 

• Solskjær bags his 8th win in the Premier League as he rests a couple of key players ahead of the Champions League tie with PSG. United back in the top 4! 

• Lacazette & Iwobi get on the scoresheet in an unconvincing win for the Gunners as they drop to 5th position. Mkhikitaryan back in the starting-11 with a good performance under his belt!

• Klopp gets back to the basics by fielding last season's formation and unsurprisingly they easily brush Bournemouth aside. Wijnaldum controlled the midfield with a MOTM performance!

• Spurs quietly keep winning game after game despite injury issues. They've cemented 3rd place as they sit 9 pts ahead of 4th-placed MUFC and only 5 pts behind league leaders. 

• City absolutely HUMBLES the Blues and score 6 past them. Chelsea was good for about three minutes and then madness ensued, as they conceded 4 goals under 25 minutes and are yet to score an away goal in 2019.

MatchDay 25 | Premier League 2018/19 

• 0'40" - Pochettino shuffles the pack a little bit as Spurs are still dealing with a couple of injuries but they manage to pull through and are well on pace in the title race.

• 9'34" - On the back of two consecutive humiliating defeats, Chelsea obliterates Huddersfield and new signing Higuain & Hazard both bag a brace! How important will the Argentine be for Sarri and the Blues?

• 19'10" - A brilliant finish from Rashford wins it for United as Solskjær collects his ninth W in the Premier League although his men's intensity was non-existent. It is crucial they sort that out ahead of a PACKED month! 👀

• 25"45" - Agüero hat-trick slices open Arsenal as Pep gets the best of Unai Emery yet again! The Gunners drop to sixth while City sits three points behind Liverpool with a better goal difference.

• 33'05" - Liverpool only dropped 6 points in their first 20 games but they have dramatically dropped 7 points in their last 5 games. Is this just a blip or Klopp and his men are feeling the heat?

The Gunners just convincingly beat Chelsea 2-0 to reduce the top-4 gap to three points. Emery played a brilliant midfield diamond with Ramsey at the tip, who marked Jorginho and effectively nullified him. Chelsea offered nothing going forward as no player made runs into the box, which made it easier for Arsenal to defend. 

Does Chelsea being poor mean that the victory was a little overhyped?

• 0'10" - Gabriel Jesus gets back into the team & scores a brace to ensure City keep breathing down Liverpool's neck!

• 4'30" - A game to forget for the Gunners as they drop points against the Hammers and only register two shots on target! A big talking point for this one will be Emery's questionable starting XI! 👀

• 13'20" - Liverpool finally wins it at the Amex in a gritty 1-0 victory through a Mo Salah penalty. Fabinho slots in smoothly at the back alongside VVD in the absence of Lovren & Gomez

• 16'30" - Pedro & Willian come big for the Blues with two wonderful strikes that see them within a point off Spurs! 👀

• 20'45" - The honeymoon period continues for the Red Devils as Solskjær passes his first major hurdle to make it six in six against a wasteful Spurs side. Top performance from Pogba, Rashford & De Gea!

MatchDay 21 | Premier League 2018/19 

In this episode, we recap all top six teams' performances over the festive period.

• City vs Liverpool - In a thrilling end to end game, Liverpool suffer their first defeat at the hands of the current champions. Fernandinho & B. Silva dominated the midfield with Liverpool being equally dangerous in transitions. The Reds sit 4 points ahead and have shown all signs of a title-winning side while City have had back2back defeats in the last two weeks but have reacted wonderfully by closing the gap.

• 17'00" | Manchester United - The only team to have won all 4 games over the festive period, United have looked a completely different side under Solskjær. They are constantly on the front foot, press high up the pitch, recover the ball in dangerous areas & are scoring goals.

• 29'25" | Chelsea - The Blues' form has been patchy of late (LWWD). Goals are hard to come by as they have no natural striker & as a result have dropped 5 points. How much longer can they cope with Hazard as a false 9?

• 36'05" | Tottenham - Goals have flown lately with notable performances from the likes of Son, Kane & Eriksen but they've slipped at home to Wolves. Can Poch's men make the title a three-horse race or are they just going to put the pressure on?

• 42'30" | Arsenal - The Gunners are yet to rediscover their form (WDLW) & have suffered a heavy defeat at the hands of Liverpool. Emery has transformed the side on many levels in just five months but the club will have to back him as he looks to trim his squad & add more quality.

MatchDay 19| Premier League 2018/19 

• 1'55" - Liverpool brush the Magpies aside with another clean sheet. Klopp's side has shown immense maturity this season and currently sits first in the league with a 6-point lead.

• 9'15" - Arsenal are held 1-1 at the Amex by Brighton. The Gunners haven't rediscovered their form since the end of their 22-game unbeaten run but Aubameyang keeps bagging goals!

• 17'55" - Hazard's brace has Chelsea back to winning ways. The Blues' form has been patchy lately as they operate without a real striker. Can they keep Hazard happy as a false 9?

• 27'36" - City experience their second PL defeat in a row and dramatically drop to third place. Guardiola's six out of 11 PL defeats have come in December! 👀

• 33'55" - Tottenham with another emphatic scoreline sees them climb to second spot. Pochettino's in-form men have scored 11 goals (conceded two) in two games.

• 40'00" - Solskjær has made a world of difference since coming on as a caretaker manager. The baby-faced assassin has been saying & doing all of the right things & it seems that the boys have already bought into his approach. Loads to look forward to for the Old Trafford faithfuls!

Another week, another episode with a special guest! Jeremy, a first-generation American born to an Italian father, joins us today to discuss the golden era that the Serie A was going through in the early 2000's. 

In this episode, we speak about Axel's experience with calcio when he moved to Italy as a 7-year old boy and how Jeremy got into soccer living in the US and ended up cheering for Napoli. 

The Partenopeo club was very iconic in the Maradona days during the 80's but was declared bankrupt in 2004 while in Serie C1 (Italy's third division) only to be bought by film mogul Aurelio De Laurentiis. The colorful chairman promised to bring Napoli back to the top within five years and saying that he has delivered would be an understatement. 

We also discuss in depth how Napoli reached for the stars from 2009 to nowadays under Walter Mazzarri, Rafa Benitez, Maurizio Sarri and now Carlo Ancelotti.

• 19'50" - It was a total game of chess between Sarri & Pep! Sarri set his team up a bit differently with a midfield-3 line and Hazard as a false 9. Kante, Luiz and Hazard very influential! 

• 26'55" - Tottenham picks up an away win at the King Power to ensure they remain third, but surely all eyes are on the ever important CL game at the Camp Nou!

• The Gunners wipe the floor with Tottenham in what was the game of the season so far. Arsenal's pressing, ball recovery in dangerous areas and influential subs were key to a magnificent performance 🔥 

• Liverpool snatches a dramatic win at the death in the Merseyside derby to remain 2 points off City!
