Today I Switch Your Sitch with Dee Matlock, a successful international lawyer who after a major life event moved to Dubai where she worked and lived for over 10 years and is now in the midst of switching her sitch to help others as a life coach.
Dee and I chew the fat on how important building habits are to success and how the rise of adaptive intelligence has proven itself an important business attribute in light of COVID19. Dee is currently in the midst of becoming a qualified Life Coach and about to launch her first book, “how to develop positive habits”.
In 2016, Dee and her legal team won the Asia-MENA In-House Community Team of the Year award for the Energy & Natural Resources sector and were finalists in the Infrastructure, Utilities and Energy Team of the Year at the Australian Corporate Counsel Awards in 2018. She was a committee member of the Australian Business Council in Dubai and led the review of that organisation’s constitution in 2013.
Dee is an avid runner and triathlete, and she has completed several long-distance triathlons and multi-day running events in some of the toughest terrains in the world such as the Sahara and Gobi Deserts. As part of that experience, she has appeared in various media, including newspapers and magazines in the Middle East, as well as participating in various television and radio interviews.
