Deejay LoK

Deejay LoK drops his debut solo EP 'There & Back' which marks a full circle back to the early 90s where his journey began.

"I've tried to put together 3 songs that evoke those feelings i had at the time i first heard rave, hardcore and then listened to Jungle as it was born. A crossover early hardcore/jungle tune that would have been at home in early 93, an "intelligent" smokers tune and a full on tearout Jungle tune. I hope it takes people back to those feelings during such exciting times of amazing creativity."

Found some old cassettes! enjoy!

I was looking for a copy of this mix i did back in 2007 as a taster for what i was doing for the J Dilla Changed My Life parties in London for The Doctor's Orders. Finally found it and thought i'd upload it for you all. Happy Birthday to the late great James Yancey aka J Dilla, one love.

Live recording of my set at J Dilla Changed My Life 2009, Cargo, Rivington Street, London.

All original records as sampled by the late J Dilla

For the final track of 2024 i got to work with the excellent Strange Soul in order to complete something i wanted to for a long while!

My homage to an incredible record that has been remodeled so many times but i wanted so much to do my own..

Due on all platforms Jan 3rd 2025 but for now i hope you enjoy!

Thank you for listening!

The next single from Deejay LoK's unreleased vault is a halftime/breaks roller peppered with nods, as always, to the music that has always inspired and influenced him so much!
