Why do people say that?

In order for something to mean something you have to care about it.

Commonly asked question “I want to be more optimistic but I feel like every time I get my hopes up I end up feeling disappointed. What can I do to fix this?”

Why does my mind sometimes feeling like it’s going to explode with the amount of thoughts I have? How come I’m always thinking about something but yet still I’m so distracted by everything?
