Deep Astrology

Pluto and Uranus both are hitting RFK's chart hard, which led to big news from him last week. Also, a slew of stories about censorship - where is that coming from astrologically?

The expansive Jupiter/Uranus conjunction is still in full swing. I discuss Jung's concept of the Puer Aeternus, the eternal child, and various difficulties we could have in dealing with "too much" expansion.

The current protests and astrology are echoing what we saw in the 1960s. I also look at a recent Uranus/Moon square I went through.

More on Pluto in Aquarius, and a deep dive into the Aquarius/Taurus square we'll be feeling for the next month or more. We look at how it's showing up in the news, and how it might show up in your life.

I look at the upcoming Pluto/Uranus trine in the context of our current cycle, as well as past ones. I find this aspect in history and explore the themes that are likely to come up.

Why do we make resolutions this time of year? Because it's Capricorn season, of course. I talk about how I dealt with my problem with discipline with "mini-habits." With Mars exalted in Capricorn, and several trines to Jupiter and Uranus in Taurus, this is a great month to tackle projects without too much pain. I know it's not exciting, but what do you expect from Capricorn?

I cover the main transits of 2024, including Pluto entering Aquarius, the eclipses, and the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction.

Neptune embarks on the final degrees of Pisces, which will be the most intense. I address the ultimate meaning of Neptune, and why it tends to have such radically different significations.

Venus enters Scorpio on Dec. 4 and will take us up to just before New Year's Eve, adding a bit of emotional depth and spiciness to our festivities, but a trine to Neptune just before Christmas brings in some dreamy energy to the holiday.

I cover the full Mercury retrograde cycle from late November to January 21. This will dominate December's astrology, as most significant aspects we will see will be made by Mercury, or pertain to this cycle. Nice aspects to Venus and Jupiter make this a promising retrograde to manifest our Sagittarian dreams into Capricornian reality.
