Today I talk to a modern nomad, Alim Virani. He's spent a considerable amount of time living in various cities and travelling worldwide.  Now he is onto his new adventure, both in terms of cities to live in as well as his new 10 year plan.  This leads us through the US elections, technology (with a focus on machine learning and AI) and we dive through approaches to difficult problems in society and in our sphere of influence.  

We talk about political correctness and politics in general: from the hotly followed and contentious US presidential race to the elections in British Columbia (that's right, Canadian politics!). We delve into community issues, mainly foster care and housing. This led us down a path into multi-culturalism and tribalism. Finally, as two metallurgists must, we talk industry, tech and natural resources. A great talk with a very kind and level headed friend of mine, Doctor Renaud Daenzer.

In today's episode we dive into ideas of inspiration and discuss freedom of expression (I mean discuss in a very loose way as you well know). After a last minute cancellation I decided to try doing something anyways.  This is my improvisational skills being tested!
