In this Halloween special, RJ manages to actually push his way through a horror game, a feat in itself. However, little did either of us know, the worst was yet to come. Join us in the 2021 Halloween Special as we discuss the small indie game "Summer of '58", reminisce on the scariest moments of our childhood gaming experiences, and what makes for a solidly scary game.
Prey is a game by Arkane Studios. They were well known for the acclaimed Dishonored series, so you would expect that Prey's release would be a big one, and yet, it seems barely a soul has played it, at that's a shame. A shame not only because Prey is a great game, but perhaps more importantly, because it might never receive a sequel. For at least one of us, that's the biggest shame of all.
The EA we all know today is far from the most respected video game studio, but it wasn't always that way. When did the shift to greedy, consumer bludgeoning corporation occur, and what shadowy, villainous figure is responsible for it?
Jedi Fallen Order breaks EA's hot streak of crappy Star Wars cash grabs in an attempt to deliver something unique and well made. It adopts a souls-lite and Uncharted inspired gameplay style, and tries very hard to earn a gentle, loving pat on the head. Oh, and did we mention there are no micro-transactions?

12 Minutes is a game that attempts to be a lot of things, but it is unclear how many of these goals are achieved. It's a story built like a Hollywood movie script, with dialogue voiced by A-list Hollywood talent, and an absurd Hollywood twist, all of which serve to both intrigue and muddle the player.
