They then dive into Week 5 takeaways, which touch on a class of emerging star rookie wide receivers and some underwhelming fantasy performances from the Ravens. The NFL season finally arrived this weekend and nature is healing. Jeremy and Samantha recap some of the biggest storylines of Week 1, including the Monday night games, where AJ Brown had an underwhelming debut and the Giants run game was so unproductive it was almost impressive. Elsewhere in the NFL, the Tompa Bay Bucs looked shaky, Cam Newton, Josh Jacobs and Aaron Rodgers all impressed and the Detroit Lions did Detroit Lions things as they lost to the Bears in epic fashion. Samantha then gives you her waiver wire adds of the week, including a Steelers RB and a couple of Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jeremy and Samantha recap the first NFL game of the season between the Chiefs and Texans, where Clyde Edwards-Helaire ran wild and the Texans offense looked...not great, Bob. For Start/Sit in Week 1, they recommend a Dallas wide receiver and a Falcons tight end, while warning to stay away from crowded backfields in Los Angeles and Tampa Bay. In the inaugural "Show Us Your Picks," Jeremy takes the Titans in Denver and the under in a Bears/Lions slopfest, while Samantha likes the under between the Raiders and Panthers. And Jeremy offers a three-team underdog parlay as his "Degenerate Bet of the Week."
