We are back with a new MCU review, this time on the first Asian-American led MCU film, "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings"!

We were so excited to go back into the cinema again and enjoy this one on the big screen. We have many thoughts and so many likes that we discussed and now want to share with you. Yes you, there, in the place where you are!

We are back with part 2 of our Into Darkness discussion. This time around we talk about the second half of the film, starting with some people yeeting themselves or being yeeted into space. We have fun discussing the film a second time around and also manage to start some tiny ethical discussions on Khan's superblood and more! This time we had a lot of fun and were also highly entertained by the realisation that Benedict Cumberbatch not only dominates the 2010s, but also really enjoys some Ben-on-Ben-acting-action!

Tis time for AOS: Into Darkness! After the death of Alex's late laptop we had to re-record the episode and did so a few weeks after originally watching the movie. Therefore our knowledge of the plot is somewhat inadequate and the need for Benedict Cumberbatch puns is high! This week we discuss the first half of the film and share our opinions on the role of women in this film. After spending a lot of time talking about The Original Series, we have now finally reached the first ever made Star Trek feature film! Together with our guest Peer, from the Platzhalter Podcast, we take a look at the film that restarted the franchise in the late 70s. We talk about the special effects, the storyline and the big philosophical question at the end of it. Also, we share our failures with soups, coffees and technology, take Sauron into therapy, and try to figure out what the best way is to tell people your contact information.

We are talking all things Loki! 

With Marvel's newest Disney+ - show fully released we took some time out of our day and talked about the "Loki"-show. As we are both big fans of the character, we had a lot of thoughts on how he was portrayed, his journey and about him coming into his own. We also discussed the big elephant in the room and the first canon queer representation in the MCU that wasn't a total cut-away scene or (for whatever reason) Joe Russo! We did it! We saw a movie in cinema! We actually left the house! 

Today we are reviewing the newest MCU movie, "Black Widow". We both have been waiting for a Natasha Romanoff solo-project for forever and are therefore extremely hyped about seeing more about her character and getting to talk about her. In this episode we share our likes and dislikes on the film and we dive into what it means to be growing up as a young girl in this really irritating world. Of course, there will be spoilers, so watch the movie first before you listen to this episode!

This is part 2 of our AOS 2009 discussion! We recommend listening to part 1 first so you're all caught up. In this episode we continue our shenanigans and dive right into the second half of the movie. Today we jump from the 1960s into the year 2009, in which J.J. Abrahms "Star Trek"-retelling and new Enterprise origin story was released! 

Not only do we talk about the plot of the film, we also dive into the importance of proper uniforms and the role which Amanda has in Spock's life. We also discuss the differences between the Original Series and the new Alternate Timeline, also known as the Kelvin timeline. As we had a lot to say about the film, this will be part 1 and the conclusion of our discussion will be released as our next episode!

Also, evil tribbles attacked Paula's computer and microphone, which is why her recording isn't on the same level as it usual is. They have been beamed onto an unfriendly Klingon's ship, so we should be fine when recording our next episode.
