In this chapter, John encounters a powerful angel who delivers to him a little book.  This book will be sweet as honey in his mouth, but bitter in his belly.   We see many familiar symbols in this angel (cloud, rainbow, radiant face, voice roaring like a lion, etc.).   It is tempting for many scholars to identify this mighty angel as Christ.   Join us today as we compare and contrast the attributes of this angel with the Lord Jesus.   We will also see the Old Testament symbolism that accompanies "the little book". 

In this Independence Day message, we look at the signs of a nation under the chastisement of Almighty God.  All indications point to our Nation being under Divine discipline.   Our only hope for revival is a turning back to the LORD!

In today's episode we see one of 3 times in the New Testament that Jesus raises someone from the dead.   In this instance, there is a widow woman who has lost her only son.  There are two large crowds-one heading for the cemetery and another heading for the city.  Two only sons will meet; one alive and destined to die- and another dead and destined to live again!  Two sufferers meet and two enemies meet at the city gate.   Jesus shows Himself to be the LORD over life and death! 

In today's episode we continue our study of the Book of Revelation.   Chapter 6 begins with The Lamb (Jesus Christ) opening the seals from the 7-sealed scroll.  The first four seals have accompanying "horsemen" denoting false Christs, war, famine & hyperinflation, and pestilence.   The next (5th) seal deals with the cry of the martyrs of Jesus.   We conclude with the 6th seal, which includes cosmic signs of unprecedented proportions.   Even those who do not believe in God will then declare that the "wrath of The Lamb" has come! 

In Daniel 9, the angel Gabriel gave the prophet Daniel one of the most breathtaking and profound prophecies in all of God's Word.   In a few brief verses he outlines the time when Messiah (Jesus Christ) will come the first time and be rejected/crucified.  He then talks about a future time when another "prince" (Antichrist) will come and briefly outlines his 7-year career.    Failure to understand this prophecy leads to all kinds of eschatological confusion.
