Is this where I get serious? Message 98? Nope, I try not to take anything serious, as I do what I am called to do sober-mindedly. Laughter is good medicine and I am funny, not at the, "I-should-be-getting'-paid" funny.
But this is an interesting perspective on God. It is because what I hear so much about God would confirm to the spiritually ignorant that every person born will be in heaven because God is Love. But it is here that we must also recognize that He is also just. You see Christianity is not a game; not a religion, otherwise Jesus on the cross would be nothing more than a joke. I am for sure confident that God is not playing some masterful joke on humanity. Based on what I have done myself, and have seen, read, and heard of what others have done, this stuff is anything but a joke. Let's look at a side of God that's difficult to understand but must be looked into least both ends don't meat!

I'm a cowboy, and on a steel horse I ride...could you see Jesus singing this while walkin' in da desert? Probably not but surely he wasn't an outlaw just because He did things that give us the appearance that He was actually breaking the law....or was He? And would He be walking in the desert if He had a steel horse?
It is these types of messages that I love because God is in the business of destroying our first impressions. This is that, that is a first impression that we have to unravel to get the correct perspective on what it was or is that Jesus did and is doing even unto this very moment.

So I suspect I might know what a Pastor feels like when he is about to bring a message that is surely to stir things up a bit. And of course that is because we are stirupable people, especially in these days where God has placed an unexpected demand on His Church and Bride to see if she is up to the task. Well, we know she is not there yet and for sure His grace will get us there, but only as long as we do not ignore how we ended up in this place, in the first place and why it happened.
But this message is not that! I love doing that...
This message is about what has been going on well before the beginning of time and continues to and through today and will eventually culminate to its intended end when Jesus shouts "That's a wrap." Why I said earlier that I know how that Pastor feels is so that when I tell you, you understand that although I might feel that way, I should move forward in His will at any cost including the off chance that I could be wrong. Yes I could be wrong or off in any message. That is the risk we take as humans when serving God. My thought is that it is better to serve and make mistakes along the way than to have never served and thus avoiding making any messaging mistakes. But now if I may be a friend for a moment, it would be a greater mistake to avoid serving God in the fear that you may miss it, that to serve in your humanity. Enjoy this series.
