How can we “live a life worthy of our calling” as Paul mentions at the beginning of chapter four? How does he describe that worthy life?
Humble, Gentle, Patient, Bearing with one another in love, Unity/bond of peace.
We’ve already learned that God has crafted us to do good things. Now we’re finding out what those good things are. He has given us abilities and passions to equip people, to build up the body of Christ, to reach unity in the faith, unity in the knowledge of the Son of God, and maturity. We can use all of these, together with the abilities of others in the church in God’s service. In this new episode of Deeper, let’s hear Paul telling the church and us: It is time to grow up! It is time to mature!
