We all want to enter into the good land and God also wants us to enter the good land, which of course is a picture of Christ. In order to enter the good land we need to cross over both the Red Sea and the River Jordan, pictures of our baptism and we need to destroy Jericho by trusting in the Lord's word. Listen to some personal experiences and testimonies that apply these two stories of the children of Israel to our Christian life today.
What is God's ultimate goal in bringing us out of Egypt, through the wilderness, and into the good land? What's the issue of this long journey and our laboring on the rich all-inclusive Christ? It's the temple and the city where God finds rest and satisfaction and can rule, reign, and establish HIs kingdom.
Join us as fellowship over how we should live as ones who have been saved by God and brought into Christ. We have had a glorious transfer out of Egypt, the world and into Christ, the good land but should we live in Christ the same way that we lived in the world? No! Now in Christ we must live a life of laboring on Christ to experience and enjoy His riches for God's delight.
God wants us to enjoy Christ as the reality of the good land and for this we need to know how to enter this land, into our Christ daily and practically.
So far we've seen how rich our Christ is as typified by the good land but how do we practically experience and enjoy this Christ? In this episode we dive into the key to experiencing and enjoying Christ, the two spirits.
Join us as we dive deeper into how we can experience Christ as oil in our daily life and also how meaningful it is that the land is one flowing with milk and honey. Milk and honey are both foods that require both the animal life and the plant life to produce. Find out how that applies to us today.
First we respond to some questions from our listeners!
Then we dive deeper into three of the foods present in the good land: wheat, barley, and grapevines and what they typify in our New Testament experience of Christ today. (7:07)
We dive deeper into the content of week 2 of Rooted, talking about how rich and all-inclusive our Christ is and how the description of the good land promised to the children of Israel helps us to into in and appreciate our Lord's vastness and richness.
Diving into our first week's material of daily bread and keep the feast from Rooted! What does the journey of the children of Israel from Egypt through the wilderness into the good land have to do with us today? Find out here.
