The Carol I know today is immensely fun, playful and joyful, so it’s so hard to imagine her being someone that sought validation from others, someone who’s thinking always started with negativity, was stuck in her ways, managing rather than leading her business, pleasing rather than serving her team.

You’re about to experience one of the warmest, loveliest people I know. Natasha Hawtrey-Woore has this rare inviting and welcoming quality, a beautiful nature and energy, always an absolute pleasure and very comfortable to be with.

She has founded several businesses and now spends her time helping visionary female founders realise to their potential. We dive straight in and Natasha is very honest about feeling like a failure as a mother and her experience of having a daughter with severe learning disabilities. 

It’s amazing to hear hear how she was able to express and process a huge amount of grief through the music, through the experience. I was blown away by the ripple effect this has had on herself as a mother, a leader on her family and business in moving from playing small to taking responsibility and playing a bigger role throughout her life!

Gerry McGread - I love this man.

We trained together with an incredible organisation called The Mindful Talent Coaching Academy and really bonded.

We have stayed in touch ever since.

Gerry’s from Glasgow, has the “Glasgae banter” and is part of a family business that specialise in outdoor media that he operates from the beautiful surroundings of Bali!

He also works as a coach and when Gerry and I sat down, well, stood up for our Music Mapping Experience together, it was a really poignant time in his life because he’d just lot his cousin.

Someone that was like a brother to him.

It’s so humbling for me to know that the experience we shared together was incredibly healing, at a really challenging and emotional time for him.

So, thank you Gerry, I hope you enjoy us reflecting on that beautiful experience together.

I’m going to be speaking with one of the most remarkable human beings I have ever had the privilege of not just encountering, but also knowing, deeply as a friend and as a peer. Trust me. One day her writing and message will change the world and you will look back on this and say "Yes...that's where I heard about Julia first!"

Julia Dias has done things in this world that literally no other human being would have done or has done. She grew up in Germany and survived sexual abuse. There was point in time she was the only Westerner in the Gaza strip, the rest had left.

Not Julia!

In the early 2000s, she felt so compelled to help people in Colombia through the drug wars, she travelled there on her own as a young single woman, with no support and made a measurable difference to local communities. She remarkably, narrowly survived the Madrid bombing in 2004. She married and created a family with an Amazonian tribesman and these days she lives in Portugal with her 3 girls as a coach, author and supports organisations develop strategies for gender mainstreaming.

She blows me away and yet she probably still doesn’t realise how remarkable she is. I’m so grateful to her because she was the very first person who shared the music mapping experience with me and it still brings the hairs on the back of my neck up every time I think about how profoundly impactful that experience was on both of us!
