Self-described ‘genuine hustler with goals’ - from music to real estate - James has found success in his career and in his entrepreneurial ventures, yet it is his humble definition of success that sets him apart and keeps him vibing higher than most. Simply put...success is obtaining the goals set for yourself - no matter what those goals are - if achieved, then you’re successful. In all aspects of life - little or big - success has nothing to do with finance....it’s bigger than money. Unwavering in his personal drive, it is James’ deeply rooted sense of self, as well as, his belief in self that keeps him keepin on - vibing high and rolling with a ‘I came, I soared, I conquered’ mindset....giving middle fingers to the haters along the way. Welcome to the VERY FIRST episode of Deeply Rooted. This week features our very first guest....coming to us live from Mexico - Will “The Weirdo” Wilson. With a career spanning from 1989 to now - Will’s worked with everyone from Jazze Pha, to The Bomb Squad, to Tech N9ne, to Raheem Devaughn, to Dukes of DaVille, various artists at Interscope, Atlantic, and Universal Records to an endless list of others - in a variety contexts. Although highly impressive and successful - career wise, I choose Will as our first guest due to his success on an authentic, intimate level . He’s the very first person - I’ve  ever witnessed, personally - to look at the money and choose integrity...family over career. A choice which exemplifies what this show means. Buckle up....we’re about to go deep.
