Today, Erin is joined by her good friend Lauren Williamson who is neither an active duty women or a military spouse but has been well a part of the military community. Lauren has great advice for building deep and intentional friendships by bridging the gap between military members and civilians and her and Erin discuss ways we can love each other deeper, more like Christ loves us.

Kori shares the challenges of finding community in different seasons of life and how she decided not to wait to step into God's calling even though she didn't have all of the pieces perfectly lined up. This weeks episode of the Deeply Rooted wraps up our month long celebration of women in the military. 

Publishing Deputy Director, Kelli Baker is joined by three women who have severed their country in uniform and continue to serve their military communities as military wives.  Kristin Goodrich served in the US Navy in the 1980s, Rachelle Whitfield served in the US Army in the 1990 and Kori Yates served in the US Marines in the early 2000s.  Each a decade apart, each with their own unique stories with commonality threaded throughout.  Stories God is using 30 plus years later to share His story and encourage a new generation of women serving in the military.
