Deeprhythms Mixes

2nd guest mix by TimDeep again proves that he has a great ear for building up moods and smooth transitions. Start following him on Soundcloud and you won't be dissapointed. Short bio: "Tim Cunningham AKA TimDeepMix from Detroit MI. I've been listening to deep house since the early 90's and...

Cabinet Records boss Daniel Paul talked to Timo about his long career in electronic music. He also found the time to mix an excellent cinematic guest set for your listening pleasure. I've always been a big fan of Cabinet Records but did not really know too much about the label...

2009 is almost over and here's a mix to celebrate the New Year. The starter track from Daniel Paul's excellent Night Shift album (which has not gotten the attention it deserves mind you!) sets the mood for the whole mix - if you're into round basslines, lush pads and warm...

A low bpm mix of the finest kind Deepcore member Mike Bishop is at it again, his previous mix for DR was excellent but this one is really something special and unique. I don't know how on earth he managed to pack so much energy and motion into this fine,...

Another excellent mix by one of the most interesting talents on the current deep house scene, Deymare. This mix, again, is just so good I won't even bother trying to come up with a comprehensive set of superlatives. Smooth & jazzy with a twist - what makes me happy is the fact that there's still a lot of quality house music out there and people like Deymare keeping it alive. Timeless mix, make sure you leave feedback if you dig it as much as I do!

I'm happy to present an excellent mix by Belgium's finest, Pat Lezizmo. Chekc out his weekly show, 2Chill, on SpitsFM. Pat takes us for a spin (no pun intended) with his mix, a 1hr 32min set of modern deep house with a classy touch and some very, very skillful mixing. Deep house connoisseurs should not sleep on this...

Music that heals the soul and fills the heart. That's how Chris Gray has described the agenda for his legendary Deep4Life label. This label, and Chris' productions, have shaped and continue to shape the landscape of deep house. The man's responsible for countless deep house classics, and it's a real honour and a great pleasure to offer a summery mix from him and Walter Chiu to you, our listeners.

3rd time's the charm! Estimulo's monstrous 2hr and 20min guest mix is accompanied by a little interview. What a ride, the essence of this mix is longetivity. I know I'll be coming back to this mix for, yes, years to come. "This session represents my vision of the deep summit and the people surrounding it as i see it today."

I'm so pleased to present this mix to our listeners. A long time coming, but if you ask a busy perfectionist for a mix you need to be prepared to wait. And while 4 years is quite a log time, it sure was worth it. A mix made using only digital releases by a man who is an avid vinyl collector is something special as a curiosity, but the real message here is that medium should not matter at all. It's the music that tells the story.

So here we are, almost 8 years have passed since this site first went online. I never thought it would take this long to publish the 50th mix, but oh well, quality over quantity right? But here you go, 1 hour and 32 minutes of my current favorites.

I'd also like to thank all the good people out there who've shown their support to us over and over again. Keep sharing your stories!
