This discipleship class dives deep into the vital role of prayer in the life of every follower of Christ. Far from being passive or routine, prayer is active participation in God’s will, it’s how disciples align with Heaven, battle spiritual opposition, and grow in intimacy with the Father.
The class includes a thorough, verse-by-verse exegetical study of the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13), unpacking what it means to hallow God’s name, seek His Kingdom, depend on His provision, forgive others, and resist temptation. We’ll explore how Jesus modeled a rhythm of both speaking to and listening for God’s voice, and how that should shape our personal and corporate prayer lives.
