Spoiler Filled Synopsis: In Ethiopia, in the middle of a raging battle between the Ethiopians and the invading Italian army, Prince Tafari and the War Dog Kuda recover the Wakandan axe made from Vibranium that was lost to the sea when Noni battled The Lion.On the return to Wakanda with the artifact, an unknown high-tech entity phases in front of the vehicle driven by Kuda. While initially perceived as a threat they discover the entity is in fact a future Wakandan Queen who has teleported to their time to save Wakanda and the earth from an invading alien army called The Horde.The Queen informs them that the dire situation confronting her time is because Wakanda never integrated into the wider world and so The Horde picked off humankind followed by Wakanda. This resulted from a hinge point created by Killmonger who, ultimately through his intervention to secure and lose the Wakandan throne, convinced the true heir, King T’Challa, to engage with the outside world.Armed with this information and convinced she is telling the truth, Prince Tafari and Kuda head back to the City of Adwa to return the axe and so set up the chain of events leading to its theft (or repatriation) by Killmonger from the British Museum.In explaining their actions to the Wakandan Council, Prince Tafari’s only regret is that he wishes he could have seen the future that he and Kuda fought for!

Spoiler Filled Synopsis: In Kun’Lun, China, 1400, Agent Basha infiltrates this high mountain society to recover a Wakandan artifact lost for over a thousand years. Pretending to be a lost traveller he is taken in and cared for by a woman called Jorrani. During his recovery he is drawn into the community by Jorrani and they develop feelings for one another. At the city's Dragon shrine Basha and Jorrani take time to offer meditation at the city’s sacred Dragon statue where he spots the artifact as the tongue of the dragon.But after several weeks, Basha, now back to full health, attempts to quietly recover the artifact but he can not remove it from the statue and has to take the entire head. He manages to escape Kun’Lun in his hidden flying craft despite being caught stealing the sacred object.Back in Wakanda, he is greeted by Captain Evo, head of artifact security, who is concerned that the intel for this mission was off. But Basha arrogantly flaunts how easy the mission was and how primitive he saw the people of Kun’Lun. But as Basha and Ebo replace the artifact they suddenly realise that he has brought back an unexpected visitor from Kun’Lun who has infiltrated Wakanda.Basha finally catches up with the masked infiltrator who has made their way to the artifact collection to return the sacred Dragon to Kun’Lun. As they fight it is revealed to be Jorrani who is none other than Kun’Lun’s protector - the Iron Fist.Deploying her powerful glowing fist, Jorrani manages to finally get Basha’s attention where he learns that the people of Kun’Lun had not knowingly stolen the Wakandan treasure and that in fact over the last 1000 years the Dragon and the artifact has become a more important and sacred symbol to her city and society than it ever was to Wakanda.Knowing this Basha and Ebo concoct a story to hide Jorrani’s presence in Wakanda and in turn Jorrani plucks the tongue from the statue's head saying if Basha had only asked she would have helped.The Iron Fist returns to Kun’Lun with the Dragon head and Basha learns humility.

The history of the war dogs takes us to Troy in Eyes of Wakanda Episode 2 "Legends and Lies". This episode gave us a very interesting take on Achilles and Odysseus as a Wakandan spy infiltrates their ranks to reach Helen and Paris.

Spoiler Filled Synopsis: In 1190 B.C., the famous attack on the heavily fortified City of Troy by Odysseus is taking place. Each attack is repulsed by the Trojan forces, even those led by the legendary Achilles and his band of Myrmidons.After another failed attempt to storm Troy, Achilles and his trusted friend and right hand man Memnon collect their thoughts around the campfire. Despite the deep brotherhood between Achilles and Memnon, Ferris, another member of the Myrmidons, is suspicious of Memnon who is an outsider.Despite Achilles' trust in Memnon, little does he know that Memnon is a War Dog from Wakanda. He is at the siege of Troy to recover a Wakandan pendant from around the neck of Helen of Troy.As the Myrmidons, led by Achilles, attempt another attack on Troy this time using Odysseus’ Trojan Horse tactic. They successfully infiltrate the city and let the rest of the Greek army in to attack. But the alarm is raised and in the ensuing battle Achilles sees Memnon peel away towards the palace as he is surrounded by the Trojan forces and left for dead.Memnon recovers the purple amulet but is seen by Achilles who escaped the Trojans. Achilles believes he's been betrayed and that Memnon is in fact a Trojan spy. They fight one another and following blow after blow between the two Memnon cuts his friend’s heel. Despite slowing Achilles down, Memnon cannot convince his friend to stand down and as the fight rages Achilles is killed by Memnon who places the coins on his friends eyes for the ferryman.Six months later, back in Wakanda, B’Kai (aka Memnon) tells the leader of the War Dogs, Noni, that the mission to Troy has left its mark and he feels like a stranger in his own home as he remembers his deceased friend, Achilles.

Spoiler Filled Synopsis: In 1260 B.C. in the land of Wakanda, the leader of the Dora Milaje, Akeje needs help from a former Dora, Noni on a solo mission.

A former high level Wakandan leader, calling himself The Lion, has left the secretive society armed with dozens of powerful Wakandan items. If these items fall into the wrong hands they could pose a danger to the world.

Noni accepts the mission and locates The Lion in Crete where he is capturing and enslaving the people to add them to what he believes is a utopian society.

Noni battles and confronts The Lion but she is blinded in the fight. He refuses to return to Wakanda and sets an explosion which sends all the Wakandan artifacts to the bottom of the Aegean Sea.

Noni returns to Wakanda and is offered a place back in the Dora Milaje. When Noni refuses, Akeje offers her membership of The War Dogs. A secret society with the purpose of keeping Wakandan tech out of the hands of the rest of the world for as long as it takes.

In the explosive season finale of Marvel’s Ironheart on Disney+, John and Derek from TV Podcast Industries break down Episode 6: “The Past Is The Past”, directed by Angela Barnes and written by showrunner Chinaka Hodge. Episode 6 Recap: What Happened in “The Past Is The Past”?

We begin in the past, where a young Parker Robbins and his friend John break into Parker’s father's mansion. While escaping, Parker meets a mysterious hooded man who promises him power, respect, and wealth — at a mysterious cost he’ll “barely notice.” Parker agrees and seals his fate with a handshake.

In the present day, Parker confronts the same mysterious partner, furious that his desires haven’t materialized. But the hooded man reminds him: everything he needed was already given.

Meanwhile, Riri is at a low point. She can’t rebuild her AI, N.A.T.A.L.I.E., and goes against advice to confront Parker directly. At his headquarters, she faces Ezekiel Stane, who is still under Parker’s control. With Ezekiel’s help, she defeats him and forces him into a reset.

Riri battles Parker and successfully removes his hood, leaving him broken. But the fight isn’t over — Mephisto reveals himself and offers Riri a deal. She accepts, with one condition: leave her loved ones alone.

Back at her garage, Riri believes she’s rebuilt N.A.T.A.L.I.E., only to find a physically resurrected Natalie Washington. As Riri embraces her friend, Mephisto’s mark begins spreading across her skin…

Parker, now unhooded and vulnerable, enters Zelma Stanton’s sweet shop and pleads for some “Supreme-like” assistance.

Ironheart Episode 4 "Bad Magic" Details

Episode Synopsis:

Knowing that Parker Robbins, aka The Hood is on her trail, Riri analyzes the piece of The Hood’s cloak she recovered, which she discovers is an ancient energy source that Parker draws upon. 

Meanwhile Eziekiel Stane (aka Joe McGillacuddy) has been arrested for the crew's heist after being implicated by the biomesh left behind by Riri, and he is very resentful towards her when she visits him in detention. 

With things stacking up Ronnie, Riri’s mum, gets increasingly worried about her daughter and wants to help, bringing her to her friend Madeline Stanton, a former Kamar-Taj trainee, and her daughter Zelma. 

The Stantons help examine the fragment of the hood and detect that it is from a dark dimension that is likely influencing Robbins, before abruptly ushering Riri and Ronnie out of the shop. Ronnie shares her frustrations about her daughter never opening up to her, but Riri leaves in her iron suit after pushing back against her mother’s assertion. 

Frustrated in her lack of findings with the cloak fragment, Riri meets up with Xavier, who tries to support her but is later horrified by N.A.T.A.L.I.E. emulating his late sister's image. N.A.T.A.L.I.E. leaves when Riri contemplates Xavier's demand to delete it. 

Elsewhere, The Hood breaks Eziekiel out of jail to recruit him as Riri's replacement, and Slug assists his efforts to implant bionic enhancements in his body, while secretly giving Parker access and control over the bionic enhancements.

With everything now in place, Parker sends the crew on an extra mission this time to kill Riri, telling them she killed Cousin John.

It’s time to chat about Ironheart Episode 3 "We In Danger, Girl" in our spoiler filled podcast all about it. Make sure you have watched all three episodes before you listen along.

Ironheart Episode 3 "We In Danger, Girl" Details

Episode Synopsis:

While celebrating their successful operation against TNNL at Parker's  headquarters, Clown plays around with Parker's mysterious hood. But before Riri and Clown can investigate more, his right hand man John angrily confronts them.

Parker calms the team down and starts planning for their next heist on a secure facility known as Heirlum. This time they're having difficulty with blackmail leads and John tries to call the whole thing off, but The Hood pushes them onwards.

Riri wants to investigate the properties of the Hood, especially after being told it's magic, but she has more than enough problems dealing with Joe and her new AI.

Joe McGillicuddy has plans that he insists she looks over, while at his house Riri learns he has a bigger secret than she thought. Joe is actually Ezekiel Stane, the son of Tech genius Obidiah Stane, who died trying to kill Tony Stark. But he entrusts Riri with some of his experimental bio-mesh skin on the provision that it doesn't get traced back to him.

Riri uses the bio-mesh skin to help get some cloaked Tech inside Heirlum for their next job. She wants to get a sample of The Hood while Parker is busy with the heist.

But things go awry and Riri triggers the alarm system. As they all escape, John learns of Riri’s attempted betrayal and confronts her, promising to demote her with his trusted knife. But Natalie manages to get through the security systems of Heirlum to save Riri with the Iron suit. As she does, John remains trapped in the secure greenhouse and suffocates from the biosecurity measures.

Inconsolable at the death of John, Parker screams for The Hood to show its true self, but instead it shows him the death of John and an image of Riri’s Iron costume.

Safely home Riri realises things were worse than she thought as she left Ezekiel Stane’s bio-mesh skin behind her, implicating him in the unsuccessful heist.
