Ever since the Justice League movie released it's been in the back of my mind. I found the movie an extreme disappointment and I have just been pondering the future of the DCEU ever since. Instead of dwelling on the movie, I decided to get all of my thoughts out with a giant blog post on an old blog of mine. Instead of sending everyone over to my dead blog, but while still wanting to share my thoughts on the film franchise, I decided to just read the blog on the show! This is my in depth analysis of the DCEU and how it all culminated in Justice League. We are now on Patreon! On today's mini episode we discuss numerous plugs but also dip into the news to discuss Kevin Smith's recent trip to the hospital due to surviving a heart attack. Glad to hear he's doing okay! If you missed our last episode we actually interviewed a friend of Kevin's Marc Bernardin. There's also some trailer shout outs and an offer to be on the podcast! We are now on Patreon! This weeks episode features an interview with writer Marc Bernardin. You may know Marc as the co-host of Fatman on Batman with Kevin Smith, but Marc has had a long career putting the words to the page. Today he's here to discuss the new release of his comic book Genius Cartel. Marc brings us through his journey through college, to his journalism to career, and into his current work in the writers' room for Castle Rock.  Be sure to pick up Genius Cartel which released on February 21st. It's time to look at another video game movie that never came to fruition. This time it's the Capcom series Devil May Cry. Written in 2006 and based on one of my favorite game series of all time, the Devil May Cry script is an interesting read that started off slow for me but ended up exceeding expectations to a point. It's another mini episode! Today's mini discuss's this weeks string of technical difficulties that lead to a Thursday episode instead of a Monday episode. However we do still have a script to discuss this weekend and we have to let you know what's up! While we're at it this episode also has a review for the new Star Wars trailer for Solo A Star Wars Story and for the new Venom trailer. So it's a lot of trailer reviews and recording issues! Well we finally did it! My wife had never seen Star Wars before last year. Previously we watched the first two original films and recorded a commentary track. It's been a long time coming but we finally sat down to watch Return of the Jedi. This episode is maybe my favorite of the three and her first time reactions were very interesting. From a non-fans perspective the things you expect may be totally surprising. So now it's time to wrap it up as we finish off the original trilogy. Just a heads up the volume of the movie may be a little loud in the beginning. We are now on Patreon! Robocop is arguably one of the best movies ever made. Or at least it's the best movie about a cyborg cop who shoots perverts in their privates. Robocop 2 is one of my favorite sequels despite it's generally lackluster reception. The film was originally written by Frank Miller but there had to be massive re-writes before the film could make it to the screen. The original script was deemed "un-filmable". Well that script was then taken and turned into a comic book. This episode looks at that original script/comic.  If you want to send in any questions or comments you can send them to . you can follow us on Twitter and Instagram @shelvedpodcast.
