I really love her words, and as we know from interviews with Dolly Parton’s that she is an empowered woman. She has created empire, and she is authentically herself. She speaks her truth. She walks her truth.

Dolly Parton words are a call to action for most women she’s telling them find out who you are and do it on purpose is about self discovery, self ownership and living life with intention.

too often women are told who they should be by family by society by culture by expectations that were never there to begin with. We are encouraged to fit into predefined roles to tone ourselves down to make ourselves smaller so we don’t disrupt the status quo. The true empowerment comes when we decide for ourselves who we are, what we stand for, and how we choose to show up in this world.
