I noticed that I was getting so annoyed with one of my daughters always trying to be right, it taught me that I DO THIS- she learned from me!! Learn about my shift in the power struggle when I started implementing this strategy. 

Using these two words will disarm any conflict, in any relationship- "You're right" vs "I know but.." is one way to empower effective communication to get exactly what you want. Two things can simultaneously be true.
