Dr. Alycia Halladay has been working full-time from home during the pandemic while also mothering her twin daughters (one of whom is on the autism spectrum). Dr. Halladay is the Chief Science Officer at the Autism Science Foundation and has authored over 50 scientific publications. In a nutshell, Dr. Halladay is a smartie pants and loves to share her love of science with anyone who will listen to her. On this episode Dr. Halladay talks about her own story as a mother of a young daughter with autism. She also provides up-to-date information about the current status of COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Alycia Hallady is the Chief Science Officer at the Autism Science Foundation. She oversees the science programs and portfolio of ASF. She previously served as Senior Director of Environmental and Clinical Sciences at Autism Speaks. She holds a PhD in psychology from Rutgers University and completed a post doctoral fellowship in pharmacology and toxicology at Rutgers University. Alycia is also a mother to twin girls, Jennifer and Sarah. Alycia’s daughter, Sarah, is also on the Autism Spectrum.
