  • 19: Worshiping at the altar of Busy
I finished writing a book!  And do you know what happened?

    Absolutely nothing.

The world doesn’t hold a parade or launch surprise fireworks or ship you a case of champagne because you finished a book or completed that project or sold that thing or lost those pounds.  It keeps on keeping on, and it’s your job to celebrate well.

In this episode of That’s What She Said, we talk about the importance of celebrating, of refusing to move the goal line (i.e. I wanted to lose 3 pounds but then I did that so now I want to lose 30), about saying “yes” to living, and refusing to worship at the altar of Busy.  (When you find a worshipper, unsubscribe.  Unfollow and walk away slowly.)

Let’s talk space.  Freedom.  Time.  White space.  And fake tattoos with cocktails.

If you'd like more space, freedom, time, white space, and cocktails in Hawaii, check out the Find Your Voice Workshop.

    Hugs,
    K

P.S.  Have you joined the Fuck Yah club, which includes a complimentary copy of Go Your Own Way: free yourself from business as usual?  Get thee to this link right now if you haven't. ;)

  • 15: Find Your Voice // everyone is not for everyone
In part 2 of the Find Your Voice series, we talk about why everyone is not for everyone, and the lessons 9 (almost 10)-year-olds have to teach us about garnering business in the modern world.

  • 14: Find Your Voice // how to not give a f***
Today we talk Calvinball, the best entrepreneurial quote of all time, and how to give fewer f*cks across the board, while garnering trust, connection, and surprise in your business.

This is my FAVORITE topic, and the first step in Finding Your Voice as an entrepreneur: giving zero f*cks.

  • 13: Information Overload (and Overlords)
You're going to start reading those books you've purchased or working through those programs you've been hoarding on your hard drive or listening to those language recordings tomorrow.  Or next week.  Or next month.  Or this summer.

You've got no time right now, and you haven't had time for the past few years. But someday...soon...

In this episode, we talk about all the ways that technology can be simultaneously lovely and overwhelming, and we address questions like, how do you make space for what's important?  How do you decipher your voice from all the others?  ...and how do you know who to listen to, in the end?

    Hugs,
    Kristen

  • 12: Get out of your own way
In which I misidentify the episode number, but otherwise throw down with enthusiasm about getting out of your own way.

As always, the how-to's probaby feel like they have nothing to do with ACHIEVING ALL THE THINGS, but they do.  And my new book comes out on July 31st.  (You'll find out why I'm telling you that when you listen.)

  • 10: The Thing Behind the Thing
Before we talk about more marketing strategies or sales techniques or [insert latest 3-step program here], we have to talk about the thing behind the thing.  What really keeps you from making more money in your business.

And then I encourage you to work with me in Introverts at Work, because holy crap you'll grow like a champ during our time together: http://www.brandcampblog.com/introvertsatwork
