Mercy Nnenda Chinwo is a Nigerian song writer, singer and has also appeared in motion pictures, she is known professionally as Mercy Chinwo-blessed. Born 5 september 1990, which is 3 days apart from my birth date being that I was given birth to on the 8th of September. She signed a record contract to Eezee Conceptz in 2017 and she released my song choice for the week in the year 2018.

The song “Excess Love” is a song that resonates with my heart, the love that God has shown me has being in excess abundance, I cant phantom why He has this gigantic love for me sometimes, it gets me overwhelmed and I am grateful to God always for the show of Love. Sometimes it is like I am singled out and being showered blessings that I am not deserving of. He takes me by the hand and makes everything about me special, I find almost everything I do easy which is all attributed to His love over my life.

To have a human love you this much is something to be thankful to and gracious for, but having God almighty showing such love and grace in my life keeps me in complete awe and complete gratitude. It is so fortunate that His love over flows in my life making me feel brand new each and every day of my life. His love has nothing incomparison with, and it is so good that when He loves you so, you have nothing to worry about, even when you go astray He waits for you to come back, and when you are lost, He goes out to find you.

Hello and welcome to Praise and worship week 72! My name is @deky01 and in this week’s concert, I will be singing the cover of “Favour” by Lawrence Oyor.

The theme of the week which was selected by one of our lovely artist of the hive blockchain @blezysteve “unveiled glory”. This was misconstrued to be the theme for last week’s concert theme and since it is still the theme for week 72, I decided upon myself to do as much as I can to participate and in this decision-making process, I choose to sing the cover of the song “Favour” as I have stated above.

While glory refers to God’s splendour, His majesty, His honour and divine presence, to unveil means to reveal, or to show case something that is hidden or not visible. Unveil glory refers to the revealing or show casing the honour, splendour and majesty and the divine presence of God. It could also mean a spiritual transformation, experiencing deeper connection and understanding of the power of God, the unveiling of God’s glory could also mean the coming of Jesus Christ to the world showing all the power of God through the magnificent works and miracles He exhibited during His time in the world.

The song Favour by Lawrence Oyor is a song of prayers to God, showing God is so glorious with His children, the song talks about how the favour of God surrounds us His children like a shield, covering us from now till He comes back to the world to rapture us back to heaven. Jesus came to the world to show us the glory of God and what we should a glimpse of what the presence of God looks like.

Neeja is an emerging Gospel artist and song writer from Nigeria. The song “My story” is a song that can serve as an encouragement to people on how the love of Gid is above man’s imagination and knowledge, despite our flaws and our diverse behaviours that are not pleasant to Him and are sinful in nature, God’s grace has covered us, giving us what we are not deserving of, ignoring our flaws and changing our situations for others to see and know that He is God of all and how He welcomes His lost sheep home with open arms.

The bible has shown us a very good example of how God welcomes sinners who stray away from Him, using the parable of the Prodigal Son which Jesus example to us in the book of Luke 15:11-32, where the son of a rich man came to his father asking for all his inheritance in order for him to go on his own way, and after his father answered his request the son went on to waste all that was given to him and back home begging his father to accept him which he did without any dely. That is a typical example of how out father in Heaven will accept us whenever we return to him and in so doing, if we believe in Him, He will change our story for the amazement of others to see and glory in His name.

Unveil Glory is to reveal something magnificent, it the revelation of something wonderful and grand. Showing the splendour of something or someone. To my own very understanding, unveil glory simply implies showing how God is so magnificent in His power and might, how God is magnificent in our lives, how the name of the Lord has all splendour and glory,

God being who He is has showed us how Majestic He could be, how His acts are grand in out lives. How His glory has spoken some many wonders in our life, healing us of sickness and infirmities, providing for us even when we have lost all hope, accepting us back whenever we have gone astray, forgiving us for all our sins and most importantly loving us first by sending Jesus to the world as a sacrifice for our salvation, making Jesus to defeat death.

The Loveworld Singers is a group of Musicians and a record label of the Christ Embassy church of Pastor Chris Iyakilome. It houses many prominent gospel musicians and also the birth place for them. It is the choir of the church. Musician like the likes of Sinach, Eli J, joe praise, frank Edwards.

The “song precious Lord You are the greatest” is a song of praise to the Lord Almighty, glorifying His Majesty and His presence in our life. Our God is the creator of all, while we were made by Him, others made their God, while God carries us, the gods of others are carried by them, while our God is everywhere at the same time and knows all at all times, their gods can not be everywhere always and cannot know all things, our God is indeed the greatest of the greatest. That is why we honour Him always as the King of all kings and the God of all gods He is most high and He is great!

Lemuel Yakubu is a Gospel artist, song writer and minister of the Gospel, ministering through music and touching lives. Born in Donga, Taraba state of Nigeria.

The song “Bukatana” is a song in the Hausa Language which simply translates to “my needs”. The lyrics talks about how the writer has been to places of other spiritual power in search of help, from the south, west, east and North but found no solution to His challenge but with Jesus his needs were met and for that reason he shall remain with God for God has met his needs and He alone can meet his needs.

God’s love for us is so abundant to us always providing our needs and making sure that we are satisfied. As His children, He has made us His priority, prioritizing our needs any time we ask of Him.
