This podcast is a throwback sermon from November 22, 2015 where Pastor Brad Harris preached a message the Sunday before Thanksgiving from Psalm 138. This sermon includes many practical applications related to Thanksgiving but regardless of when you’re listening, it will encourage you you to consider how you can praise and honor the Lord for the many gifts that he has blessed you with.

On Saturday, November 6, 2022, the men of DBC gathered together for a time of fellowship, encouragement and edification as longtime DBC member Sheriff Russ Martin shared a presentation titled, “What I learned in Life, Love, Law Enforcement and Leadership (How to Impact Our World for Christ)”.  In today’s podcast, we’ll listen in to Sheriff Martin’s talk. This is a much longer podcast than we normally share so it will be broken up into chunks.

During this time this podcast aired, DBC is taking a break from our Sunday morning study of the book of Acts to study the themes of Christian community and connection to our local church through a LIFE Group Campaign. Throughout the next 4 weeks, we'll closely examine these themes and their importance to the church.

This week, Pastors Scott and Brad overview the different components of this campaign and talk about why now is the right time for DBC to study these important topics.
