In the second part of our study of the attributes and works of God the Father, we’ll study God’s absolute characteristics of knowledge, wisdom, love, goodness, justice and holiness. We’ll also touch on God being omniscient (all-knowing), omnipresent (all-present), and omnipresent (all-powerful). Throughout this study our focus will remain on taking these powerful truths that we believe as a church and finding ways to apply them to our everyday lives.

Theology Proper is the study of the attributes and works of God the Father. In this first part of our study of Theology Proper we’ll begin to study the absolute characteristics of God and how we can practically apply the realities of who God is to our daily lives.

Bibliology is the study of the doctrine of the Bible. Within DBC’s doctrinal statement we state that we believe both the Old and New Testaments in the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life that is inerrant, infallible, and God-breathed. Listen in as we unpack these statements and work through other key points regarding the doctrine of the Bible.

On June 6, 2021 we celebrated Graduate Recognition during both morning worship services at DBC. It was there that Pastor Aaron Hedges, our Pastor of Youth and Family shared a powerful message titled The Danger of Disordered Loves that stirred and inspired many within our congregation to reach the next generation for Christ. During Pastor Aaron’s message he shared that he would share further information that he couldn’t fit into his sermon in a podcast and actually, we'll release two podcasts on this material.  

In this second podcast, "The Danger of Disordered Loves Part #2 - A Strategy For Reaching The  Next Generation", Pastor Aaron shares further quotes, references, and resources regarding how followers of Christ can engage the millennial and Gen-Z age groups to the glory of God.
