Do our past failures have to define our future? Can we be not only forgiven, but restored? God’s Grace on the Apostle Peter beautifully, and powerfully, shows us the answer to those questions.

We are all tempted to find our significance in the outward: what we look like, what we accomplish, and what we possess. But Jesus offers us something more, lasting, and real.

We all want to find value and purpose in life. We all want to discover our true identities. We don’t want to just exist, but to truly live. The world tells us to look within. Jesus tells us to look to Him.

If you trust in Jesus, you’re promised eternal life in Him. You’re promised Heaven. But it seems like many of us aren’t all that excited for Heaven. We cling desperately to life here. Why? Perhaps, it’s because we don’t really understand what’s waiting for us: our True and Eternal Home.

We all see things in the world that are wrong. We all feel a desire to make those things right. We all want justice. The Bible teaches us that God is a perfect Judge who will, in the end, bring perfect justice.

We all want to matter. We all want to know that our lives will have an impact beyond our short time on earth. But how do we know? Jesus taught that our earthly decisions echo into eternity, and we were by created God with value and for a purpose.

Many of us have been hurt by relationships in the past. We were vulnerable and then rejected, and now we’re guarded. But in Christ, we are fully known, loved, and accepted by God. And because of His love, we can let down our guard and let others in.

Despite what current culture may say, there really is something wrong with us—it’s called sin. And it’s at the heart of all our problems. We need our sin to be removed and a right relationship with God to be restored. The good news is that this forgiveness is found in Jesus.
