EBC Family Catechism: Week 11 BIG QUESTION: Does God allow for a distinction between biological sex and gender? ANSWER: No. To introduce gender as a new category of personhood in pursuit of a new sexual identity, is unnatural to the creation order and harmful to the purpose for which God made us. BIG QUESTION: Does God permit us to change our sex? ANSWER: Certainly not. To reverse how God created us based on fallen thought and self-perceptions would be rebellion and distortion of God's creative handiwork in forming us for His glory. Memory Verse: I will praise you because I have been remarkably and wondrously made, Your works are wondrous, and I know this very well.
