We clearly see there's a generational interpretation of the rapper's lyrics. Older fans of the music relegate a rapper's lyrics purely as entertainment whereas some younger fans view it as autobiographical or current depictions of how the rapper really lives. This is the only genre of music where this behavior is promoted corporately and culturally. What do we do to change the mindset of those who really think their favorite rappers are "real".
